Dr Denise Casper's Team
Denise Casper, DO, PADr. Denise Casper was raised in Worthington, Minnesota and moved to Texas to attend the University of North Texas, where she graduated Cum Laude. After earning a Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Casper completed her internship and Family Practice Residency at Corpus Christi Medical Center. She then moved to Bridgeport, Texas in 2003 to begin practicing at Family Clinic.
Dr. Casper holds a board certification in Family Practice with the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She is a member of several professional organizations, including AOA, TOMA, TMA, ACOFP and the Texas New Mexico Hospice Organization. Dr. Casper has been published in the Texas Journal of Rural Health and has been a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center since 2004. Dr. Casper is Medical Director of IntegraCare Hospice in Decatur, Texas and Medical Director of Home Health Care of North Central Texas.
Together with her husband Bill, Dr. Casper has two beautiful daughters. Dr. Casper is an avid reader, and she also enjoys camping with her family.
Megan DeLoera, PA-CMegan DeLoera completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, graduating Cum Laude in Honors Studies, from Texas Tech University and went on to complete her Master of Physicians Assistant Studies degree at the Texas Tech Health Science Center in 2013. ("Wreck 'em!").
She has worked at Bridgeport Family Clinic with Dr. Denise Casper for 3 years. PA DeLoera loves the tight knit community of Bridgeport and the unique opportunity it provides to foster close relationships with her patients that span across generations. "It is really nice that I can follow a family from the grandchildren to the grandparents! I love watching the kids hit their milestones and to essentially grow with them."
DeLoera has a strong background in community health and education outreach from her experiences as an EMT in Plainview, Texas, and as a local board member of Texas Area Health Education Center East (AHEC) - North Central Region.
In her free time, DeLoera enjoys traveling domestically and abroad. In 2009, she participated in the study abroad program Semester at Sea, a 'floating university', where she visited 10 countries. "I was able to experience so many different cultures in a short amount of time. It really made me appreciate where I come from and also to be more open and understanding of those who are different from me." She also enjoys cooking and exploring the local food scene in the area.
DeLoera currently lives in Decatur with her 5 year old son, Anson
